Terms of sale and website use

Short version: prices are only binding on a countersigned proforma, lead times start at drawing approval, and panels carry 24 months against manufacturing defects.

Quotations and orders

Every quotation states the alloy, temper, thickness, film grade, packing, Incoterm, port and its own validity date. If any of those assumptions change, the price is re-confirmed in writing before production starts.

Quotation validity is stated on the document, typically 30 days, and moves with the aluminium price and freight market. An order exists when a proforma invoice is countersigned or a deposit is received — not before. Payment terms are 30% deposit with 70% against the copy of the bill of lading; L/C at sight for larger programmes, as stated on the contact page.

Production and delivery

Lead times are quoted per order and start from drawing approval, not from the enquiry. Nothing is cut until a drawing or first article is approved, and changes after approval are quoted rather than absorbed silently. Transit times on this site are port-to-port estimates; they are indicative and not a contractual delivery date unless agreed in writing.

Warranty and claims

Finished panels carry 24 months against manufacturing defects in the panel, the cut and the print. Film durability follows the film manufacturer's warranty for the grade supplied, stated on the batch certificate. Send photographs of the crate label and the defect with the quantity affected; we answer within two working days with a replace, credit or technical explanation, as described on the quality page.

Using this website

Content on luyaalu.com is provided for buyers evaluating our products. Technical notes summarize public standards (MUTCD, EN 12899-1, ASTM D4956, GOST) for orientation — they do not replace the standard itself, and a tender must be checked against the current edition. We disclaim reliance: specification decisions should be confirmed with us in writing and against the standard documents you hold.

Text and images on this site belong to LUYA ALUMINUM unless credited otherwise. Standards titles referenced remain the property of their publishers (ASTM International, CEN, FHWA, Rosstandart).

Governing law and disputes

Sales contracts are governed by the law of the People's Republic of China, including the Chinese Civil Code provisions on international sales, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) where applicable. Disputes are settled first by negotiation; failing that, by arbitration under rules agreed in the contract. Nothing on this website is legal advice.

Changes

Terms referenced here update when our payment or warranty practice changes; the date below changes with it. Last updated 29 October 2026.
